Нет. nitinol — проприетарное приложение, исходный код закрыт. При этом продукт бесплатен — и для себя, и для работы, без аккаунтов и функциональных ограничений. Обещание про отсутствие телеметрии сформулировано так, чтобы его можно было проверить снаружи, без исходников — как именно, написано в приватности.No. nitinol is a proprietary app with closed source code. The product is free, though — for yourself and for work, no accounts, no feature limits. The no-telemetry promise is phrased so it can be verified from the outside, without the source — the privacy page explains how.

Почему установщик столько весит?Why is the installer so large?

Это Electron-приложение: внутри — движок Chromium и Node, а поверх них редакторы CodeMirror и ProseMirror, календарь FullCalendar, Excalidraw для схем, Mermaid для диаграмм в заметках и встроенный SQLite с шифрованием. Для настольного комбайна с офлайн-работой это обычный размер.It’s an Electron app: inside are the Chromium engine and Node, and on top of them the CodeMirror and ProseMirror editors, the FullCalendar calendar, Excalidraw for diagrams, Mermaid for diagrams inside notes and an embedded encrypted SQLite. For an offline-capable desktop workbench that’s a normal size.

Сверьте файл с контрольной суммой на главной (раскрытие «Контрольные суммы и системные требования» в разделе «Скачать»); чтобы продолжить — «Подробнее» → «Выполнить в любом случае».The Windows installer isn’t signed with a publisher certificate — signing was deferred by a decision of 7 Sep 2026 until a certificate can actually be bought through an available channel, hence the SmartScreen warning. Check the file against the checksum on the home page (the “Checksums and system requirements” disclosure in the “Download” section); to proceed — “More info” → “Run anyway”.

Да, для Apple Silicon (M1 и новее): сборка подписана Developer ID и нотаризована. Intel не поддерживается. Обновления — те же три режима, что на Windows и AppImage (по умолчанию приложение только сообщает о новой версии, скачивание и установка — по вашей команде); сборка 0.20.0 канала ещё не имела — её один раз обновляют с этой страницы. Мобильного клиента нет; мобильная реплика с быстрым захватом есть в дальних планах, сроки не обещаем.Yes, for Apple Silicon (M1 and newer): the build is signed with a Developer ID and notarized. Intel is not supported. Updates work in the same three modes as on Windows and AppImage (by default the app only announces a new version; downloading and installing happen on your command); the 0.20.0 build predates the channel — update it once from this page. There is no mobile client; a mobile replica with quick capture is in the long-term plans, and we won’t promise dates.

Apt-репозиторий есть — команды подключения в блоке загрузки на главной; после этого .deb обновляется обычным apt upgrade, а подпись репозитория проверяет сам apt. Flatpak и snap не публикуются. Без apt .deb обновляется переустановкой: скачайте новую версию с главной и поставьте поверх — данные не затрагиваются. AppImage перед первым запуском нужно сделать исполняемым: chmod +x Nitinol-*.AppImage. Обновляться он умеет сам; на Ubuntu 24.04+ он штатно не стартует, поэтому там берите .deb. Ubuntu 22.04 и более ранние не поддерживаются — нужна glibc 2.36+.Yes — there is an apt repository; the commands are in the download block on the home page, and after that the .deb updates with a plain apt upgrade, with apt verifying the repository signature itself. Flatpak and snap are not published. Without apt the .deb updates by reinstalling: download the new version from the home page and install it on top — your data is untouched. Make the AppImage executable before the first run: chmod +x Nitinol-*.AppImage. It can update itself; on Ubuntu 24.04+ it won’t start out of the box, so use the .deb there. Ubuntu 22.04 and older are not supported — glibc 2.36+ is required.

Установщики трёх последних версий — в журнале изменений, там же их контрольные суммы. Порядок такой. 1) Выгрузите данные в ZIP («Настройки → Данные → Экспортировать всё») — это резервная копия, а не гарантия совместимости. 2) Переключите обновления в режим «Вручную» («Справка → О программе») — до установки старой сборки, иначе она сама предложит ту же новую версию, а в режиме «Автоматически» и поставит её при выходе. 3) Поставьте прошлую сборку поверх текущей; AppImage никуда не ставится — сделайте скачанный файл исполняемым (свойства файла или chmod +x) и запустите. Базу приложение не пересоздаёт никогда: старая версия либо откроет её как есть, либо честно скажет, что база создана более новой версией, и не тронет файл — тогда поставьте новую версию обратно, данные на месте. Когда исправление выйдет, верните режим «Только проверять»: на «Вручную» вы не получите и обновлений безопасности. И напишите нам на hi@nitinol.app, что именно сломалось, — откат лечит ваш вечер, а не причину.Installers for the three most recent versions are in the changelog, along with their checksums. The order is this. 1) Export your data to a ZIP (Settings → Data → Export everything) — that is a backup, not a compatibility guarantee. 2) Switch updates to “Manual” (Help → About) before installing the older build, otherwise it will offer that same newer version again — and on “Automatic” it will install it on quit. 3) Install the previous build on top of the current one; an AppImage is not installed at all — make the downloaded file executable (file properties or chmod +x) and run it. The app never recreates your database: an older version will either open it as is, or say plainly that the database was created by a newer version and leave the file untouched — in that case install the newer version again, your data is intact. Once the fix ships, switch back to “Check only”: on “Manual” you miss security fixes too. And do write to hi@nitinol.app about what broke — rolling back saves your evening, not the cause.

Где лежат данные и можно ли сменить путь?Where is my data, and can I move it?

Все данные — в %USERPROFILE%\Nitinol (Windows) или ~/Nitinol (macOS и Linux). Путь фиксирован, настройки для его смены пока нет. В конфигурации OneDrive по умолчанию эта папка в облачный синк не попадает; если вы расширяли охват OneDrive до всего профиля — выведите ~/Nitinol из синхронизации: базе данных надёжнее жить вне облачного синка, а для нескольких устройств есть встроенная синхронизация.Everything lives in %USERPROFILE%\Nitinol (Windows) or ~/Nitinol (macOS and Linux). The path is fixed; there’s no setting to move it yet. With OneDrive’s default configuration this folder is not cloud-synced; if you extended OneDrive to cover your whole profile, exclude ~/Nitinol from sync: a database is safer outside cloud sync, and for multiple devices there’s the built-in synchronisation.

По умолчанию крестик сворачивает nitinol в трей, а не закрывает. Причина: глобальный хоткей быстрого захвата и напоминания работают только у живого процесса. Выйти совсем — правой кнопкой по значку в трее; поведение крестика меняется в настройках.By default the close button minimises nitinol to the tray instead of quitting. The reason: the global quick-capture hotkey and reminders only work while the process is alive. To quit fully, right-click the tray icon; the close-button behaviour can be changed in settings.

Можно открыть большой лог или текстовый файл?Can I open a large log or text file?

Текстовые файлы до 5 МБ открываются страницей простого текста; крупнее — прикрепляются вложением и открываются в своей программе, а нужное из них достаёт «Найти в файле…».Text files up to 5 MB open as a plain text page; larger ones are attached and open in their own app, and “Find in file…” pulls out what you need.

Что значит «публичная бета» для моих данных?What does “public beta” mean for my data?

Только то, что могут встречаться баги. Данные при этом защищены: автобэкап включён по умолчанию (раз в сутки, 7 копий), и в любой момент можно выгрузить всё в открытый ZIP.Only that you may run into bugs. Your data is protected regardless: auto-backup is on by default (daily, 7 copies), and you can export everything to an open ZIP at any time.

Что из багов уже известно?Which bugs are already known?

То, что уже нашли в опубликованной версии и ещё не починили, живёт на отдельной странице — «Известные проблемы». Там видно, насколько каждая мешает, есть ли обход, и оттуда же можно рассказать про свою.What has already been found in the published version and not fixed yet lives on its own page — Known issues. It shows how much each one gets in the way, whether there is a workaround, and lets you report your own.
